    Founded in the 1860’s, Downtown Apex “is considered one of the most intact turn-of-the-century railroad towns in the area.” This quaint district is home to some of the best local shops and restaurants in western Wake County!
  • Beaver Creek Crossings&Beaver Creek Commons
    Largest shopping and dining destination in Apex featuring Target, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Regal Cinema, and much more retail and dining.
  • The Halle Cultural Center
    Concerts and Theater Performances, Art Shows and Exhibitions, Community Classes, Movie Showings and more!
  • Jordan Lake Recreation Area
    Multiple access areas around 14,000 square foot Jordan Lake! Campsites, swim beaches, picnic shelters and grills, boating and fishing areas, 14 miles of hiking trails, and an educational visitor center exhibit hall.
  • American Tobacco Trail
    A portion of this 22 mile trail passes through Apex. Used for “horse-back riding, walking, running, bicycling, walking leashed dogs, skating, roller blading, pushing strollers and wheelchairs.”
